Wyatt Wagner signed his national letter of intent to attend Master's University in Santa Clara CA and continue his academic and baseball development as a Mustang after graduation from Shelton HS in the class of 2024. Congratulations Wyatt as you Swing the Axe in 2024 and beyond! 

After a successful and productive year on the JV squad in 2023, Highclimbers 2022 alum Kyle Gerchak made the Ottawa University Braves Varsity as a pitcher for the 2024 season. Kyle's efforts as both a pitcher and outfielder were key components contributed by this member of the Highclimbers 2022 senior class that led the Swing the Axe Attack to the WA 2A state playoffs. Congratulations Kyle on making varsity as all Highclimbers wish you much success moving into the 2024 season.

The Mason County Journal selected Shelton Highclimber senior, pitcher/infielder Spencer Coots as Mason County Pitcher of the Year.  Shelton's junior centerfielder/pitcher Matt Carleton was selected as Mason County Player of the Year.  Congratulations to both these young men for their contributions to the 2023 Highclimbers and the Swing the Axe Attack!
